Terms and Conditions of Sale

This is an English translation provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the French version available at saisonart.com/cgv shall prevail.

1. Purpose

These general terms and conditions of sale (Terms of Sale) govern the sale of original works of art made on the website saisonart.com, published by DBEK SAS (SIREN 932 689 037), 75 rue de Lourmel, 75015 Paris.

Placing an order on the site implies unreserved acceptance of these Terms of Sale.

2. Products

SaisonArt offers original works of art for sale (paintings, drawings, engravings), mainly from the French school of the 19th and 20th centuries. Each work is unique and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Photographs and descriptions are as faithful as possible. Slight color variations may exist between the screen and the original artwork.

3. Price

Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included (TTC). Shipping costs are shown before the order is confirmed. DBEK reserves the right to change its prices at any time; works are invoiced at the price in effect at the time the order is confirmed.

4. Order

To place an order, the buyer selects the artwork and proceeds to payment. A confirmation email summarizing the order details is sent. As each work is unique, it is withdrawn from sale as soon as the order is confirmed. The sale is concluded upon receipt of full payment.

5. Payment

Payment is made online by credit card via a secure payment platform. Banking data is encrypted and is never stored on our servers.

6. Shipping

Artworks are shipped within 48 business hours after payment confirmation. Shipments are carefully packaged, insured and tracked. A tracking number is sent by email.

Shipping is free within metropolitan France. For other European Union countries, a flat shipping fee applies, shown before checkout. For any other destination, please contact us.

7. Right of withdrawal

In accordance with Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the buyer has a period of 14 days from receipt of the artwork to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to provide any reason.

The artwork must be returned in its original packaging, in perfect condition. Return shipping costs are covered by DBEK. The refund is issued within 14 days of receipt of the returned item.

8. Guarantee of authenticity

Every work sold on SaisonArt is appraised and delivered with a certificate of authenticity. In the event of a well-founded challenge to the authenticity of a work, DBEK undertakes to provide a full refund.

9. Liability

DBEK cannot be held liable for damages resulting from misuse of the site or temporary unavailability of the service.

10. Mediation

In the event of a dispute, the buyer may use the consumer mediation service free of charge. In accordance with Article L612-1 of the French Consumer Code, every consumer has the right to use a consumer mediator for the amicable resolution of the dispute.

11. Governing law

These Terms of Sale are governed by French law. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris.
